Yes, you can’t, because you are asking the wrong question. The real question is how can you get on the first page of Google for particular keywords. Makes more sense, doesn’t it?

Why are the keywords relevant? because you don’t want them to rank high in search results page when someone is searching for the terms completely unrelated to the business you are in. For example, you have an online store selling jewellery business and someone is looking to buy a shoe – not a person you would want to attract right?


How do I get on the first page of Google for the particular keywords?

Here I have got good news all for you! You don’t need to have a big marketing budget, also you don’t need to hire high-priced agencies, even  you don’t need to know  a lot of knowledge about online marketing. The only thing you need to do is.

Write a lot

Yes, you need to write, and you have to write a lot. And not just anything, you have to write about your business, or more relevantly and useful, about the topics your prospective customers are most interested.

One of the common excuses, I get most often is that people don’t have a lot of material to write about, and I don’t agree with this. You must know that, one prospective customer who is always asking a ton of questions, like they wanting to know each and everything about your product or service? Time to make them a source of inspiration not for frustration. Isn’t it?

Now, Make sure that what you write delivers value to your prospective (or existing) customers(audience), not Google. Google will tell when you are writing just for the sake of writing. Instead, Just start a discussion on an important topic, answer those and clarify a complex question, point your readers in the right direction.


Let’s look at a typical business’s website; They usually have (apart from the landing page):

  • about us page (listing employees, their vision and mission)
  • contact us page (Google map or a contact form)
  •  news page (may be with the last article being published years ago)
  • gallery page (with some images of their products or services)

Overall, they usually have 5-10 different pages which only get updated once a year  if required. Now, just by publishing an article per week you can double the quantity of unique URLs of your site in a month or two. That is 10x the pages in a year

As your website will be constantly updated, Google’s crawler will notice it, thus return more often and your chances of ranking higher will increase. Provided you are writing about topics that are relevant to your visitors or audience. If it is, then your keyword density will automatically go high and is enough to boost your rankings.

WarningIt doesn’t happen overnight!. You will have to patiently stick to your writing schedule for quite some time (may be a couple of months at least), before you see the positive response of your labor. And once you do, don’t stop doing so will sooner or later decrease your rankings due to outdated.

Don’t cheat

As a website business owner, you have likely been approached by quasi-marketing agencies which promises that you will get on the first page of Google in no time! Never fall for it – there is no such thing exists!

Those can only produce a short term benefits but Google is constantly improving their indexing algorithm and on sooner or later, you will be penalized for the malpractice. And moreover, getting off that blacklist is very hard.

Positive side-effects

Apart from ranking higher on Google search result pages (SERPs), you will also need to have plenty of material to share on social media – and eventually your writing will develop into so good and valuable that people will share it on their own, and start promoting your business for you.

Once that takes to happen, other people in the industry will also start to follow you on social media and linking to your articles.

With that, you will slowly become an authority. This, in turn, will increases trust of your clients or audience towards you and brings more profitable business in.

Don’t ignore the technical issues:

Apart from content on your website, it is also more important that your website checks out in technically which means that it should have load fast, average page load time is 5second (you can use PageSpeed Insights  in order to check  your status), also your website’s HTML output should be valid,  all images should be named properly, use of proper Alt Tag also have captions and proper attributes likewise so on.

It is also more important to have a great content, but if you will make it difficult for the Google as well as visitors to properly understand it that means you are not using the full potential.

To add more boost your writing effort also make sure:

  • Your visitors must have an easy way of sharing your content. This is most commonly can done with a social sharing plugin.
  • use proper WordPress SEO by Yoast which makes it childishly easy to set up the meta tags or information about the article. That makes it easier for Google to understand the content and present it more efficiently in search engines results.

It’s easy! Next time when you visit one of your clients or customers, pay a close attention to what they ask you – and write it down to your blog. No detail is to small to ignore! As you love what you do, so it should not be hard for you to enthusiastically explain all those things you are the expert in. Now all you need to do is put that all the explanations in writing.

Once you are equipped with tons of topics to write about – set a schedule but don’t publish everything at once. Instead of that, write once a article per week and increase the frequency when you are more comfortable.
